Less Moisture for Easier Fires
Our kiln-drying process consistently produces firewood with a moisture content below 20%. Most firewood producers leave their wood out to air-dry for months and never get it that low. Because our wood has less water in it, it ignites quicker and produces the hottest fires with the least wood for an easy, relaxing night around the campfire.
No More Dirty Smoke in Your Eyes
Kiln-dried wood also creates less smoke and creosote than regular firewood. Plus, the super-hot kiln kills off all insects, mold and fungus that may have been lurking in the wood. So, the smoke the fire produces will be clean and safe to breathe. None of your guests will have to endure a teary-eyed face full of black, putrid smoke from the fire.
